Jeremy Corbyn's relaunch is a deliberate attempt to learn lessons from Trump and Farage. The outsider, coming up with ideas that the establishment feel uncomfortable about.
It is also interesting that he has toured the media studios in a way that he hasn't done so to date.
The trouble is, there just isn't the level of public support for the types of policies that Corbyn is looking at. They appear to be a throwback to the earlier ideals of the left and a block on ambition. Instead of bringing people up, it infers an approach that keeps people down.
Rather than relaunching Corbyn, the approach will simply reinforce existing perceptions which, according to polls, are not good.
There are radical ideas around but this one won't last.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has said he would like to see a cap on the maximum amount people can earn.He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme he was "not wedded" to a particular limit but the idea should be looked at.
